INTRODUCING // OLIVE LEATHER
With the certified and recently patented olive-tanning from Wet-Green®, Early now presents a new line of the ECO EDITION, which sets new standardS in terms of ENVIRONMENTAL sustainability. Compared to conventional tanning methods, it cuts down on auxiliary substances such as acids or salts and only uses nature’s pure, renewable products.
The tanning agent is prepared in a similar way to a natural tea extract by only using a by-product of the olive cultivation – the olive leaves. Producing an extract from waste olive leaves, prevents them from being burned and therefore helps to protect the climate. An additional advantage is that this process consumes less water. The result is a biodegradable premium leather with a very pleasant touch and smell.
