Sneak Peak at our upcoming special Edition for the "Give Love Back concept Store" at the museum of applied arts in Frankfurt am Main.

We are very excited about the collaboration with Ata Marcias, our friend and supporter since we started to develop the first EARLY collection. We decided to combine the features of the two existing editions and take it to a new level by having vegetable tanned leather perforated with the original hole-pattern Porsche used to process in their car interiors. So this special edition brings together the pattern and retro aspects of the vintage Edition and the high quality and ecological standards of the ECO Edition.

In the pictures below you can see how one of the items that Ata chose for the shop is made in our Frankfurt studio: The Mini Pouch.

"EARLY are the latest hip German accessory label we’ve spied on our radar, and hooked is the only way to cover it. They are like the cool kid at the party that’s doing everything cool and you wanna be in their gang. Their ability to cater for every event a handbag accessory is essential for they do it, and they do it WELL.

As their bags are leather they’re not vegan; however they use vintage stock or vegetable-tanned, chrome free and organically coloured leather, that is then further processed.

Die Manufaktur für Lederwaren in meiner Nachbarschaft entdeckte ich eher zufällig. Ich fand dort einen wunderbaren Schatz an Vintage-Ledern, der ungenutzt war und begann ihn zu verarbeiten. Nach und nach entwickelte sich daraus eine Leidenschaft für das Material sowie das Handwerk und am Ende eine eigene Kollektion. Nach meinem Abschluss als Designerin und einem sehr freien, künstlerischen Studium bot das Label die Möglichkeit, die verschiedenen Dinge, die ich mag und wichtig finde, miteinander zu verbinden. Etwa die Freude am Entwurf und daran, etwas nach ethischen und ökologischen Kriterien selbst herzustellen sowie mit Freunden zusammenzuarbeiten. Wir versuchen, im kompletten Prozess unserer Arbeit so viele gute Entscheidungen zu treffen wie möglich. Die Wertigkeit, die somit in den Produkten steckt, wird durch klares Design und hochklassige Verarbeitung komplettiert. Das Endprodukt soll aber durch den Look und seine Schönheit überzeugen, denn wir sehen einen großen Bedarf an überzeugendem Design im Bereich "Eco Fashion".

The start of the label was a lucky coincidence when I visited a manufacturer of leather goods in my neighborhood near Offenbach am Main which is considered the leather capital of Germany. I came across an amazing treasure trove of unused vintage leather. I started using this lovely material and I gradually developed a great passion for it and its craft. I ended up creating a whole collection. This was after I graduated from art college, where I had focused primarily on artistic projects. EARLY allowed me to combine different aspects of the creative process that I love: the joy of designing; engaging with all stages of the making process and ensuring it is both sustainable and ethical; as well as collaborating with my friends. 

Our focus relies on trying to incorporate as many good decisions as possible. We exclusively use vegetable-tanned leather or vintage stock that is then further processed at regional manufacturers. The ethical value of our products is complemented by crisp design and high quality manufacturing. It is essential to have a final product that shines because of its look and its beauty. Contemporary design is relatively rare in the world of eco fashion, but EARLY tries to show that it is possible to combine an ethical product with good design.
